CALL Community Pantry
Anyone in need of grocery assistance is welcome. No Appointment Necessary.
Monday - Friday: 9:30 am - 2:45 pm
Our Pantry is filled BY the local community and distributed TO the local community.
CALL provides weekly groceries, free of charge, to individuals and families in need.
CALL supports low income school children by providing healthy snacks to local schools.
Summer Lunch Program - June through August
CALL provides extra grocery supplies to families who require meal support during summer months when free school lunches are not available.
(NOTE: We are currently running our Summer Lunch Program year round until students are back in the classroom)
CALL provides special holiday meal packages to clients throughout the year.
CALL Primrose does not provide financial assistance or housing.
GROCERY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Clients participating in CALL's Grocery Assistance Program may come in once per week to pick up groceries. As a Client, you can expect to receive the following at each visit:
Your pre-packed bag of groceries
The items in your pre-packed bag vary by inventory availability and are typically non-perishable items
Your Dairy items
You may select three of the dairy items available that day
Your Meat item
You will be offered a meat item if available –CALL does not always offer meat choices as inventory is limited
You may select your own fresh produce from an array of fruits and vegetables available on our produce table
CALL is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am – 2:45 pm,
except for most major holidays.
You must arrive at the Center by 2:45 in order to receive service that day.
SCHOOL SNACK PROGRAM
CALL Primrose supports the nutritional needs of low income children by providing healthy snacks to local schools.
Snacks are prepared at CALL by various volunteer groups and available for pick up in bulk by a representative or volunteer from the school
Snacks are distributed by school staff as needed, to students who arrive to school hungry.
